The firm was founded by Francesco Paolo Patti in 1947 and has been led by Salvatore Patti since 1988. In the last two decades, the third generation has joined the firm with Francesco Paolo Patti.
Since 2006, the firm has its own office in Germany, led by Valerie Moro.
It offers quality services thanks to the contribution of a number of full professors in the areas of private law and about 15 lawyers, some holding dual licenses in Italy, Germany and the United States. The professors and some lawyers are qualified to plead in front of the Supreme Courts.

Salvatore Patti
He is an Emeritus professor for Private Law at the University “Sapienza” in Rome. He has practiced as a lawyer since 1974 and since 1987 has been authorized to practice at the Italian High Court, the Corte di Cassazione. He is a member of the Munich Bar. He is an expert on the major fields of civil and commercial law.

Valerie Moro
She has been admitted as an attorney at law in Munich since 2002 and in Rome since 2006. Prior to working with PATTI, she practiced in a business law firm in Munich. She studied law at the Universities of Regensburg and Rome “Sapienza” as well as at the New York Law School. She earned a doctorate for a thesis in the area of comparative law from the University of Regensburg in 2006.

Francesco Paolo Patti
He is professor of private law at Bocconi University in Milan. He obtained his license to practice law in 2013, is a member of the Rome Bar Association and since 2019 on the special register of the Court of Cassation. He is the author of more than one hundred publications in the field of contract law, inheritance law and new technologies.

Marta Vittoria Colombo
Graduated with honors from the University of Milan in 2015, she has gained experience in civil, corporate, and banking law in both litigation and corporate contexts. After nearly five years at Studio Lombardi, she continued at Studio Giovanardi, focusing on insolvency matters and banking restructurings. From 2022 to 2025, she worked in the Corporate Department of Banca Generali, strengthening her expertise in corporate governance and compliance and becoming its Head. Admitted to the Bar in 2018, she has been part of the Firm since 2025.
